What attracts me the most in a home is the flooring. I think when the flooring is good, everything follows. Well, say for example bathrooms that have no tiles and just plain cement? It looks dirty even if it is clean.

I visited one of my friends’ house and they have a basement. Yes, the basement is beautiful and its basement tiles do the trick.

Building houses? Yes, I was once in that particular jobs and I have seen all those floor materials from wooden to cement to ceramic. The irony of it all, I have yet to build my own. Well, in the process already.

Monday errand

Okay, been so much into social network sites and movie watching online. Now, listening to Adele. Oh, what a weekend can do to you, huh! Couch potato! Food and all! What happened to diet? What happened to things that I must do?

Monday is for errands? Yes, I must start the day, right! The first on the list: shop for quick step laminate for our flooring! It is renovation time once again. Well, let the Christmas bonus go to something valuable and will last for a very long time. After all, you have worked for it for the whole year!

Time to go on with my list!

Reward for the Home

Time to go LCD! Well, if others have gone LED, I have to go with LCD first as far as our television set is concerned. One step at a time as they say. what we have is still the bulky old TV box at the living room. Oh, we have one at the bedroom too. The plan for this Christmas as a reward to our home is a new television! This weekend, we will start the haunt for lg lcd tvs! Well, we want to get the best deal! We are excited.

Water for life

How important is clean water? Very! All of us drink water and it is essential to our lives. If we do not have water, we might die. More so, it should be clean water or there are diseases that dwell in that crystal clear fluid even though we think that it is already clean. Thus, most of us buy bottled water or those that undergo the reverse osmosis system.

Our water bill is quite high for this month. There was an announcement that there will be an increase in rate but we did not expect that it will be that high. Maybe we should really consider buying a water softener. They say that it will help lessen water consumption. I guess, we should asked our son playing water too.

Oh, life is becoming hard each day. Thank you to certain technologies that help improve lives.

Replace the tired ones

Our outdoor lighting has been overworked. Well, most f our construction materials are on the streets just adjacent to our home and we feel secured that lighting will help and make thieves go away. Pretty practical and makes sense, is it not?

Anyways, as the construction of the house is about to finish in the next week or two, we need to buy new bulbs and replace the tired ones.

I love going to the house and home portion of the department store or even in house depot or large stores that sell tiles, stainless steel sink, tables and chairs, house decors and other household items. Well, who would not like to remodel or redesign his house from time to time? I think that it is necessary since in life, monotony of things is a big no,no! One of my friends recently made her kitchen remodeled. She spent a big amount but she was very satisfied with the outcome. It now inspires her to do more kitchen work or maybe stay at the kitchen even though she is not going to cook nor wash the dishes.

Have you been to basements? Sometimes, going there gives you a feeling of uneasiness or it is really uneasy there. Well, no windows and to think that you are below the bottom… oh, I could not explain it. One thing sure, it is not psychological. It is really the air there. If you have been to one, suggest a basement dehumidifier. Yes, it can really help.

Even without the moon and the stars

It is almost December! Actually, in less than a week’s time, the year’s last month is about to greet us. Time for christmas decoration already! This year, we are quite late in putting up that tree. We need to do a lot of things. We still have to wash it and see if the decors for it are still up to date or we have to replace it. Some of our neighbors already have their Christmas decorations and the whole village is beginning to look bright at night even with no moon and stars!

A nice designer furniture can do wonders in your home! I need that! My house is full of clutter especially my bedroom! To think that it should be a place for me relax, it is not the case. I do not even sleep there anymore. It is now time for me to act on it and turn it to a real place for me to retire rather than what it is right now (read:a garage)! I am already playing ideas inside my mind but that would mean a complete wash out of all the things presently inside that room! Well, it will be worth it, I know!
