I am very proud of one of my friends. She went abroad with a degree in Physical Therapy (PT). However, it turned out that it was sort of not her calling. What she did was she worked in hospitals in the administration section. Maybe because she did not have much experience in PT and she had not taken the PT boards yet. She already enjoys her job in the admin side of the hospital thus she searched for online college courses that she could take while working . She looked for a course that is related to her present job. She wanted to have a higher position and she believes that having an added degree would help her achieve her goal.

The last time I heard from her, she already finished her course online. She is now being considered for promotion. I am really proud of her. I wish I could do that too.

A decision

Facing herself on the full body mirror, she did not like what she saw. Naked, she did not recognize herself at all. She was frustrated as she touched those flabs. Oh, she felt heavy. She searched for the tape measure. No, she will not hang herself using that. She decided to take note of this new self. She is decided to terminate her though. Maybe it will be like killing her slowly by starving her to death. She tipped the scales and again, the smirk on her face. Oh, what have I become?

Now, she has decided. Would she progress or fail again? Yes, she was in that very same situation a trillion of times. Yet again, that persona she does not like stays…hopefully not for good.
